Foreign students and teachers at Zibo Vocational Institute gathered to celebrate Moon Festival on Sept 22. They learned to make moon cakes by themselves, tasted moon cakes and introduced their own festival tradition to each other.
Moon Festival, also called Mid-Autumn Festival, is an important festival for family reunion in China. It falls on Sept 27 this year. Zibo Vocational Institute currently accepted 33 new overseas students majoring in Chinese language and culture in 2015. They come from countries including the Kazakhstan, Algeria and Cameroon.
