Recently, Zibo Vocational Institute (ZBVI) and Dhurakij Pundit University (DPU), Thailand, have jointly established the “ASEAN Education Center” and held the opening ceremony in North Campus, ZBVI early this week. Mr. Lee, Vice Director from DPU, Mr. Jiang Yilin, Vice President of ZBVI and directors of Accounting College, Industrial and Business Management College and International School attended the ceremony.
At the ceremony, the representatives from two parties signed the Agreement on the construction of ASEAN Education Center; And ZBVI became the first vocational college in which owns ASEAN Education Center in Shandong province.
According to the Agreement, the ASEAN Education Center will soon invite professors from DPU to give lectures in ZBVI and ZBVI will send teachers to DPU to attend academic research. The students from the two parties will soon join the study tours, studying abroad project and international technique competitions. A scholarship was established by the ASEAN Education Center to enroll qualified students to study in DPU. In addition, the Memos on International education communications was signed in order to deepen and realize the cooperation in the future.
With the establishment of the ASEAN Education Center, the commerce-related specialties in ZBVI have been granted a better chance for further academic development, highlighting a big step forward in the institute’s international cooperation.
